On the Main Street in Erin Village. Two doors north of Renaissance, on the west side of the street.

`Imagine a small publisher that not only cares about good writing, but also goes to immense lengths to make that writing accessible in permanent, beautiful form. Imagine a small publisher that, instead of gluing its pages into the spines of books (thereby making it likely that the book will one day disintegrate), sews the pages together so that they'll never fall apart. Imagine a small publisher dedicated both to discovering new, young writers and to reprinting the best Canadian literature from the past -- you're imagining the Porcupine's Quill.' -- Mark Abley, the Montreal Gazette

The Porcupine's Quill is a production shop, with a small staff, that is not normally open for retail sales. We do, however, participate annually in the Hills of Erin Studio Tour in late September, and we're looking forward to the Doors Open event in the spring of 2008.

Locally, much of our backlist is available for retail sale at Renaissance, 60 Main Street in Erin Village. On the Web our entire backlist is almost always available from amazon.com

Select backlist may also available from abebooks.com, nwpassages.com, amazon.ca, chapters.indigo.ca, borders.com, and barnesandnoble.com, amongst many others including e-tailers in the UK, the Antipodes, Germany, France, Japan, India, Finland and Estonia.

To take a virtual tour of the pressroom, visit us at YouTube for a discussion of offset printing in general, and the operation of a Heidelberg KORD in particular. Other videos include Four Colour Printing and Smyth Sewing.
