The Hills of Headwaters is a dynamic and vibrant region because of the wealth of talent and generosity that the local residents give to their community. Individuals from all walks of life volunteer. The skills that they bring are invaluable to the organizations they volunteer with. These skills may be the result of formal training developed over years of use, or may be skills that are developed through living. It is these skills, and the commitment to contribute, that make it possible for our local community organizations to deliver the services that make the Hills of Headwaters such a great place to live, work and visit.
This area of the Hills of Headwaters web site is dedicated to the well-being of the volunteers and volunteer organizations that support the arts, heritage, culture, recreation and environmental health of this fabulous region. By creating a well designed virtual volunteer centre, it is our hope that we can inspire volunteerism and help bring together organizations and people who mutually benefit from working together.
